Do I need a rental car?
Yes! Please get a rental car, as the island is 353,000 square acres. Taxi’s and Ubers will be limited, and there is a lot to do on the island and I’m sure you will want to explore!
Can I come spend time on Kukui’ Ula’s property all week?
Unfortunately, as much as we would love to have everybody over to our place all week long, you cannot be on Kukui’ Ula’s property with the exception of the wedding (Thursday) and the Welcome Party (Tuesday) unless you are staying there.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please let us know if you are coming by June 1st. Formal invitations will be sent out soon, however the RSVP method will be the same. Please RSVP using the website link.
Will the wedding be inside?
No. The entire wedding will be outside. I will include suggestions for attire on my What do I Wear page, but it’s August so it will be hot.
Do you have reserved blocks at hotels?
No. Unfortunately, we have no blocks at any hotels. There are hotel suggestions on my wedding details page, but many people have chosen to rent air bnbs or stay for shorter amounts of time. I did call each hotel and ask about availability for the week and each hotel assured me they had rooms available as of March 15th.
Will there be shuttles to the venue?
Yes, on the wedding day we will have provided transportation from the three suggested hotels to the clubhouse at Kukui’ ula. The ceremony will begin at 5:00, therefore there will be transportation to the ceremony beginning at 4:30. However there will be no transportation from anywhere else than those three hotels, therefore you are responsible for getting yourself there.
What are the wedding details?
On the wedding day pre ceremony drinks start at 4:30 pm. The wedding is at 5:00 pm at the Adult Pool and the reception starts at 7:00 pm at the Farm at Kukui’ula. If you have questions contact the groom at 832.660.4628.
